Is there a signal booster for usb dongle broad band?

I have a 2g USB dongle on 3 and i'm having trouble with getting a good signal, hence my brower being slow. Is there a signal booster that would boost my signal and give me quicker browsing as my broad band speed is slower than it should be. Thanks in advanced.

1. There is - it's called a wifi repeater. But it has to be placed where it gets a good signal, so you might as well save your money and put your computer where it gets a good signal. Or run wire from your modem to your computer. (You can't "boost" a noisy signal - you boost the noise as well, giving you just a louder noisy signal. If someone speaks a foreign language, his yelling won't make it easier for you to understand him.) There are devices that regenerate noisy signals, but we're not talking prices that are reasonable for a home network (they cost more than an expensive computer).

Well search for some of the specialist mobile phone sites in uk and your find sold some clear plastic with metal strip boosters very cheap, they will help a bit, if you need then buy a mobile phone booster with aerial lead and window sticker, chop off the plug on the lead and strip the lead about two inches and wrap carefully around your usb stick modem unit, secure with sellotape and you should notice a good signal improvement.
