Where to get a wireless internet signal booster for cheap?

Hi, i'm looking for a signal booster for my computer/mac, because i seem to be getting very low signal at some parts of the day, and i need full signal ( i do lots of work on the internet ). Is there any boosters out there that are cheap? Thanks, Shelley

1. Not the way you want. The booster has to be placed where it gets good signal and where your computer gets good signal from it. Putting the booster near the computer will just give the computer a louder weak signal. Move your computer closer to your router.
