Wireless Signal Boosters

Wireless signal boosters, any good? Any recommendations?

Trying to increase the wireless signal strength to my PS3 as frequently goes down to 1 bar. PS3 is only in next room to router (less than 10m away) but signal is low particularly when someone else using the internet! Any suggestions?
