Wireless Signal Boosters

10 Points...?!?!?!?

Hi, I need some tip on how to increase my router's WiFi signal. My Nintendo Wii (which uses WiFi) is located in my living room and doesn't get much of a signal (1 out of 3 bars). My router is located in my dad's office which is about 3 rooms away from my Nintendo Wii. I don't have much money to spend on those expensive WiFi boosters and such. Is there any way that I can get a better WiFi signal? Any tips/tricks on getting a better signal will be much apreciated.

1. There might not be a cheap way to do this depends greatly on your router first thing i would check on is the price of high gain antenas and try that out but it might not work very well indoors. Otherwise the other 2 suggestions i have is to find a cheap repeater of some type or to buy a usb to cat5 adapter and run a wire for internet. Other then that the other possability is upgrade the existing router which sometimes is fairly cheap but i also dont know how new the current router is so i dont know how cheap or if its possable to upgrade it.
2. Try putting the Wii, or router in a different location. i.e. move it from the floor to the top of the TV
3. Try bringing your Wii nearer to the router!!!
