Wireless Signal Boosters

AT&T/Cingular tilt signal question?

I have a Tilt...which is a semi upgrade to the Cingular 8525...basically its the same phone. Anyway I want to use my phone as a modem and have my laptop connect to it. Problem is with in my house I get an "E" signal. When I am outside I have a "3G" signal. Is there a way to boost the signal in my house so I get 3g. Some have told me to get an antenna that is for the 8525. Others have said just buy a wifi booster. I want to know which will work 100% and is less expensive.

1. there really is no cheap way you could boost the signal, but these things do exist, What i would recommend is just getting wifi in your house.
