Wireless Signal Boosters

my wifi connection works slower than dial up?

i pick up my wifi from my mother-in-law from across the street. she has fios. when i carry my laptop over there it moves like a high speed connection should. its about 120 feet to the router from my house. if the distance is the problem, is there a signal booster available that actually works or is there another solution. other than paying for a isp at my house.

1. you are out of range. they only recommend 100ft from wifi router.
2. Put high gain antenna(a) on www.ccradio.com Good Luck!!
3. If you are currently using 802.11g you may want to try 802.11n equipment. I can get a signal from my 802.11n router at the far ends of my lawns.
