if when i turn wifi button on my laptop it gives 4 different sources but no signal if i got a booster would i?

be able to connect to net once i had a signal

1. it depends on if WEP or WPA is enable on the access points. You'd have to have the WEP or WPA key (password) in order to log on. I have 5 on my pc at home and 2 of them are open connections (meaning no security password) but, one other thing,.. it's kinda illegal without permission :P
2. by 4 different sources, u mean for 4 networks or u have 4 WEP keys to connect...Make sure, u know ur network/routers WEP key n connect to the right connection to help u get connected... :) be clear to guide u further....
3. A booster wouldn't make any difference. If your 4 sources show a padlock, the router/s they are using are blocked to any user except those who are permitted to use it. If the signal strength from these hubs is zero, you are too far away. Remember that, as with TV boosters, they pick up white noise as well as signals and would probably cancel each other out so you would be wasting your money and time. Also don't forget that if you can find them, they can find you!!
