How to resend my tv signal using wifi to my laptop?

My tv signal booster is upstair and I want to watch tv programs downstairs on my laptop.

1. Wifi won't be the answer here. You either need an antenna, or, if you want to use cable tv, you'll have to buy a video capture card for your laptop (~$50), and then get a wireless video transmitter ($50 - $150 depending on range) then put the card in your laptop, then hook up the transmitter from your tv source and to your laptop, and you're good to go. This is all very complicated and time consuming. What I would do is get your hands on another tv then buy the video transmitter then hook it up. Its much worse and not at all optimized to get the tv on your laptop. -Nick
