Wireless Signal Boosters

My new laptop is picking up an open but weak wifi signal. Will a booster card increase it?

If a card would help, please recommend one.

1. No. If the signal is not yours and you are attempting to attach to it without that person's knowledge thats illegal. Guy in Ohio was recently arrested and fined for doing that. If its your signal best thing you can do is move the router to a central location or get a router with wider coverage area like some of the Pre-n and N routers.
