Wireless Signal Boosters

wifi signal boosters?

I want to know if there is any wifi signal boosters that one does not need to plug it into any PC (via USB etc..) . If there is any wifi signal reciever that recieves signal and broadcasts it wirelessly without the need for connection to any PC or laptop.

1. Yes there are. And for those fairly unusual situations where they are the only good solution, they're great. You aren't very likely to be pleased with the results, though, so best to look at other solutions first.
2. Yes, any dd-wrt compatible modem, tp link tl-wr740N is cheap and good. Also I run dd-wrt on it without any problems.
