Wireless Signal Boosters

Is my old wireless booster compatible with my new BT Business Hub?

I have recently replaced my old modem with a new BT Business Hub. Although it is new hardware, it is essentially the same signal being emitted from it (as far as I know!). We have a wireless booster that boosts the signal round the other half of the house that worked fine with the old modem. Will this booster be compatible with the new BT Business Hub or will I need a new booster? I.E. Is booster compatibility due to the wireless signal or due to the specific hardware involved?

1. some wireless boosters are married to an exact device. many linksys boosters will only work with a linksys router. thats not to say its in all cases. Heck why not try it and see what happens.!!??
