Wireless Signal Boosters

Signal boosters. Wireless signal boosters?

Is it possible to get wireless signal boosters? And by this I mean a signal booster that does not need to be connected to the thing it is boosting (wifi modem, tv, radio) Do signal boosters need to be connected to the thing they are boosting? Cheers what about mobile phone signal boosters???

1. yes. These are also called amplifiers. You need to connect the amp to the device you are trying to improve.

Signal boosters are usually wired, but there are plenty of examples of wireless signal boosters: Most wireless signal boosters are actually antenna modifications, but there are exceptions to this also.
