Wireless Signal Boosters

I'm trying to connect my PS3 to a wireless network but the signal is too weak. HELP!!!?

There is a free network the entire apartment complex I live in uses for free if you are a resident. I have a Playstation 3 and would like to connect it wirelessly to the network, but the signal is too weak. I have a wireless router I used at my last apartment but we had broadband connected to our desktop which I ran my wireless router off of. Is there a way to use my Netgear Wireless G Router (WGR614) to boost the signal in the apartment? Or could I purchase one of the USB drive wireless signal boosters and insert it into the PS3's USB port to boost the signal that way? Which way works? If both, which works best? SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!! I want to connect my Playstation 3 to a wireless network my apartment complex offers for free but the signal is too weak. I have a wireless g router by netgear, is there a way I can use that to boost the signal within the apartment? Or is it possible to connect a USB wireless range booster to the PS3's USB ports to boost the signal? Or anyway other than purchasing internet within the apartment?

1. Well there's no real solution I know about. I suggest you connect the PS3 with an internet cable if you want the strongest internet connection.
