Wireless Signal Boosters

Wireless signal booster?

Hey, I have a wireless router in my house and for reasons i wont go into i cannot move it from its current location. My laptop and my PS3 run off it but only pick up a signal of around 35% strength max as its not very close to the router. Is their any device that can be purchased to enable the receiving device (ie laptop, PS3) to pick up a stronger signal? A signal booster so to speak? Any help appreciated Will that work with any router? And i was hoping for a device that would connect to the actual devices ie the laptop and PS3 rather than the router itself. Cheers just to add im in the UK so we dont have those store names. cheers anyway

  2. Yes, just go to any office depot, bestbuy, compusa,... They are usually referred to as "rangeboosters", but they are very common.
