Wireless router not functioning properly, how can I get the Internet to work? I have a Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router (Model Number: WRT54GC) attached to a cable modem. Recently, following a visit by the cable tech for an unrelated manner, my wireless stopped working. After further investigation, I found that the internet is functional from the cable modem directly to the computer. However, once the internet enters the router, it stops working. There are components attached via wires to the router and they are not getting any internet. Also, the wireless is not working. I can't load the router's setup. I pick up a signal, but there is nothing beyond that. Both a mac and pc were perviously attached to this wireless network and functioned properly. I've tried hooking up directly to the router via a cable, but I still can't get the URL to work. As I said, there is nothing coming from the router. My computer says I have a signal, but nothing comes from that. Internet is coming through the cable. I am on it right now. But the router appears to be the problem. It won't send out the internet signal. If I have the cable go directly from the cable modem to my computer the internet works fine.
