Can I make a wireless router a signal booster? Is there a way to use a wireless router to get and rebroadcast a signal for better strength?
How do you connect a signal booster to a wireless router? I've seen many signal boosters advertised and I wanted to know how you connect them to a router. It seems to me that it is an antenna but on my Linksys router, I already have two. Do I unscrew the old antennas and connect the signal boosters, how does that work? The reason I ask is because the wireless signal is not strong enough to let me game online on my PS3. I've seen signal boosters and range expanders, and I just want to know how you would connect/install those.
can i use a second wireless router as a signal booster? Im using a belkin router and have a spare 3com us robotics one, and the problem that i have is that on the far side of my house, where i use one of my laptops, and also i use my ps3, there is very weak signal and the ps3 cannot connect to it, i want to know if, and if so, how can i use the second router to boost the signal to this other room in my house, i cant move my belkin one as the broadband conection in my house is fixed in one place. if anyone could Help...please
Can a Wireless Network Range Expander (Signal Booster) be used without configuration to the router? If i was to a get signal booster.. let'ssay the Linksys Wireless-G Range Expander, will the network range be expanded without any configuration to the router? Can you use a laptop as a WiFi signal booster? I have an xbox in a far room of my house, the wifi signal from my D-Link DGL-4300 router doesn't reach because there are two stone walls in between it and the Xbox. Is it possible to use a laptop as a wireless signal booster or "Bridge"? I know you can do this with a spare wireless router, but I don't have one. Thanks!
Is there any wireless router that can cover this range? Is it possible to get a wireless router that has a range through four walls on top of 100ft? Could a wireless signal booster compensate the distance? Something else to think about: How USEFUL will this router be at this distance? Throw that into your answer. Would the connection be so crappy that you could barely get anything?
Wireless signal booster? Hey, I have a wireless router in my house and for reasons i wont go into i cannot move it from its current location. My laptop and my PS3 run off it but only pick up a signal of around 35% strength max as its not very close to the router. Is their any device that can be purchased to enable the receiving device (ie laptop, PS3) to pick up a stronger signal? A signal booster so to speak? Any help appreciated Will that work with any router? And i was hoping for a device that would connect to the actual devices ie the laptop and PS3 rather than the router itself. Cheers just to add im in the UK so we dont have those store names. cheers anyway

Wireless broadband signal booster? What can boost my wireless signal? I have a wireless router upstairs and ethernet cables running through the walls to go downstairs. Is there any device i can plug an ethernet cable from the router into and therefore boost my signal strength. The problem is that the signal from upstairs is not strong enough for a good connection upstairs. My overall aim is to have complete wireless upstairs, by the wireless router, and downstairs. Thanks a lot and much appreciated...
Can I use a router as a signal booster? I have a linksys router hooked up to my main desktop. The signal is fine but only through about half of the house. I have another computer on the network with a good signal. However my laptop cannot receive it in some areas of the house. Can i connect an old fully functional router to the 2nd computer and create a second network using the wireless internet signal.
What's the best way to boost signal strength of a wireless router? I have a linksys wrt54gl router with a d-link dwl-g510 adapter. The router is in the room above me (although I wanted it 2 floors above me) and I'm getting a low signal. After some investigating, I found out the ceiling is the kind that has lots of metal strips to which plaster is applied. I'm wondering if there is some sort of signal booster or antenna that can blast though this metal shield above me. Are there any recommendations on something that is proven to work? Can someone point out a specific product too? Thanks, Mike
Is my wireless router working as a booster arial? I have an IPhone 3GS on orange (uk) and live in a newly built town house so reception is quite poor, but when I connect to my wireless router I suddenly get signal in place I normally don't. Then I tried the same thing with my neighbours wireless router (with permission) but i didnt get a reception boost. Is my wireless router working as a boaster Arial? And if so how does this work?
Wireless Internet Signal Booster? I live in a house built in 1949 which means plaster walls and lead paint. I currently have a wireless router set up in the front of the house near one computer that needs internet access. My PC is in the back of the house where I get absolutely no signal strength. Will a booster get the signal to the back of the house? What should I look for if you think one will solve the problem? I guess I could always take it back for a refund if it doesn't work. Also, Ethernet wiring is not a solution. Again the thick walls and distance from front to back of the house is just to much of a hassle than just not getting service at all. I actually have some kind of jack that plugs from the wireless router into the electrical wiring and then I have a jack in the back room coming out of the wall and plugged into my Ethernet jack. This gives me service occasionally but it fluctuates in and out so these devices are not a solution. Thank you very much.
Should I buy a second router, or a signal booster? I'm trying to get on Xbox Live with the wireless network adapter, but the signal I get from my dish is always very low, should I buy a second separate router for my side of the house (the router has to be on the opposite side) or get a signal booster so I can get on?

Is there a wifi signal booster that can take a wireless signal and amplify it? I need to boost a wifi signal to some dead areas but the problem is that I have no way to hook up a more powerful antenna or router directly to the network. a wireless router or booster? i bought a laptop which has wi fi and i live very close to my mom who has wireless internet my other computer got the signal but this one doesn't. i know the wi fi will connect to the network because i have tried it when at her house. but i don't know if i need to get a wireless booster or a router i do not have internet at my house or a phone line, and no other computers. so i have no way to really hook anything up besides just plugging into the wall.
How can I improve my wireless internet signal? i live in a guesthouse behind the main house. we had cable, but we had to pay for service inside the house and the guesthouse. we switched to dsl and now pay for just one service inside the house. we set up the wireless router in the main house and my laptop picks up the signal, but its fairly weak. how can i increase the signal to my laptop? i'm not good with electronics so can someone recommend a good signal booster/antennae/wireless router that can help?
Can you get a wireless booster that you can plug into wall socket? Yeh I have a laptop at one end of my house and the main computer is at other end. the main computer is connected to the BT Home Hub by the ethernet cable and the laptop just about connects wirelessly to the router. Is there any signal repeaters/ wireless boosters that can act as the "middle man" by being plugged into a wall socket and then the booster connects wirelessly to the main router and then repeats the signal on further?
Do wireless signal boosters work? I live in a two story apartment with three other people - I'm in the 3rd floor and basically the farthest from the wireless router we had set up through Comcast. I've been noticing that my internet speed slows down considerably when I'm in my room but when I'm only a couple of feet from the router (which is in our TV room) the signal is fine. So I'm guessing I need a booster of some sort but I've gotten mixed reviews on their efficiency. Do they work? How should I set one up? Because our TV and internet is provided by Comcast/Xfinity, they provided us with all the hardware. The router is just marked "Xfinity"...the only other brand name I can find on it is SMC Industries, which I'm assuming is simply the manufacturer. Any help would be great!
What's a good WiFi signal booster that's also relatively cheap? I need to boost the signal of our wireless router and I was wondering what's a good signal booster to use?

Can a Wireless G router be used with an already existing wireless network as a booster? I have a Netgear Wireless G router but am moving in with someone who already has an existing wireless network. I would like to set up my router so that it is part of the same network and therefore creates a stronger signal in the house. I have a Playstation 3 and would like to connect it wirelessly to the network, but the signal is too weak. I have a wireless router I used at my last apartment but we had broadband connected to our desktop which I ran my wireless router off of. Is there a way to use my Netgear Wireless G Router (WGR614) to boost the signal in the apartment? Or could I purchase one of the USB drive wireless signal boosters and insert it into the PS3's USB port to boost the signal that way? Which way works? If both, which works best? SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!! I want to connect my Playstation 3 to a wireless network my apartment complex offers for free but the signal is too weak. I have a wireless g router by netgear, is there a way I can use that to boost the signal within the apartment? Or is it possible to connect a USB wireless range booster to the PS3's USB ports to boost the signal? Or anyway other than purchasing internet within the apartment?

Can I use the linksys WAP54G access point to make my wireless signal from my WRT54GS reach the 2nd floor? Just bought a Linksys Wireless G router with speed booster (WRT54GS). There are some areas though in the house that get weak signal. I was thinking of buying a Wireless G access point (WAP54G) and a long UTP cable to "extend" my signal. Is this the right way to do it? The signal is only strong on the first floor. I was thinking of running a long UTP cable connected to the router up to the second floor and putting a WAP54G there. Will this result in my having internet in both floors? Can all my siblings and I use our computers at the same time?
Help with wireless router? I have one main router that is acting as a dhcp server, unfortuantley this does not reach far enough. I am attempting to use a wireless access point to extend the signal. I believe i need to enable bridging in order to do this wirelessly. I undrestand it is very easy to create a wireless access point with any router (as long as you are using wires) however the space does not lend itself for wiring. I need to extend the wireless network without wireless (high gain antennas and wireless signal boosters are out of the question)
How can i improve my Home Wireless signals strength ? AS above, when im in the sitting room where my wireless router is located my signal is 100%, but when i go into my bedroom, my signal drops, to around 50%, its not a huge problem, but it does get a pain sometimes ? how can i increase my wireless signal from my router the most? hi at my parents house we have a linksys wireless g router and i can pick up signal on my laptop about 100 feet away sometimes....i recently got a house and moved about 1/4 of a mile from my parents. whats the best way to pick up the wifi signal? get bigger better antennas like the 9dbi knockoffs on ebay or get a booster of someother kind? ive also thought about a super cantenna but i would like to go the cheapest route since i will be splitting the bill if i can get a signal
Wireless signal not great on xbox 360 slim. Is there anything I can do to boost the internet signal? My wireless router is downstairs on the other side of the house (only place it can go) and my xbox is upstairs on the opposite side. The internet itself is plenty fast, but the signal strength isn't strong enough up here at times to play online so I'm wondering if there is a booster or something i can buy to get a better signal. My laptop works ok in same room as xbox
Ethernet port wifi signal booster for router? Sorry if the title is a little vague, but here's the story. Basically in my house, my wifi signal is rubbish. I don't get signal in a room thats 3 metres away from my router, yet I can get it everywhere upstairs, so I thought about purchasing a wifi signal booster, but I find that my router doesn't have the port to do it. It only have 5 ethernet ports, and a power outlet. The wireless is emitted from the box itself, so I was wondering is it possible to get a wifi signal booster that plugs into an ethernet port? As that is all I have available. Thanks in advance
Linksys wireless router with speed booster? I have a linksys wireless G router with speed booster and a linksys wireless usb adpater with speed booster. I thought that the speedbooster will increase the speed by 35% but i always get a low signal of about 50 to 54%. The location of the router and adapter is only about 4 metres and there isnt any interference in the surroundings. The wireless speed that im experiencing is exactly the same as when i was using wireless B. What am i missing out here? Do I have to adjust the settings or am i just plain dumb to buy this gimmick speed booster?
i want to overide any router to connect and use the wireless internet service on my laptop, how do i get in? and proceed on without knowing the wireless router using person ?. basically i don''t have a internet connection, but i have a alpha 9db signal external booster whereby i get lots of wireless internet users but all have passwords or require access key to get the net connected. could anybody help me in this regard if possible. many thanks in advance.
WiFi Signal Booster? My father recently got WiFi for the house but because it's an old house and in the country side it has very thick walls which cut the Wireless signals area to very small. He wants to be able to connect a laptop from a caravan about 7~12ish meters away from the router. He wants a cheap but good wireless signal booster, like the ones that recieve the packets and resend them so you can increase signal or would a bigger antenna be better?
I installed a new wireless router. From this router I have a second router in another area of the? house as a signal booster...different SSID. I can access both netwoks on my iMac. iPhone and iPad. I tried using a 25M telephone cable to move the router closer but that didnt work. The longer the range the better! Can I plug some thing by usb in to my g/fs laptop to boost the signal range? The router is from sky broad band and all I can tell you is that is black in colour.Lol I have sky at my own place and have had for a while and the router is a netgear and a very good one at that so I cant understand why sky have changed to a different router recently.
Wireless signal boosters, any good? Any recommendations? Trying to increase the wireless signal strength to my PS3 as frequently goes down to 1 bar. PS3 is only in next room to router (less than 10m away) but signal is low particularly when someone else using the internet! Any suggestions?
How can a Wifi antenna booster increase the wireless connection performance? Hi, I have situation here where my laptop and the wifi router are separated with walls and cause the connection to fail. I am thinking of replacing the wireless router's antenna with an antenna booster, probably 10dBi. I believe this antenna will be able to penetrate the signal through the walls to my laptop. But I doubt that, will this antenna be able to receiver the returning signal from my laptop, if I don't do any upgrade to my laptop?
Laptop Wireless Booster? Hello all, I was just wondering if anyone out there knew of a product that I could plug into my laptops USB to boost its wireless receiving signal?. I know you get boosters/Ariel's for wireless routers, but I would like something that plugs into my laptops usb, so it boosts the wireless connectivity. If anyone knows of such product for sale here in the UK, maybe you could let me know... Thanks

How to use old wireless router as an antenna for my laptop built in wireless card? I have free wifi around where i live, but the signal is weak at my computer. I am wondering if i can use my old wireless router as a booster/antenna? So rather than go out and buy a $100 usb signal booster, i would rather make use of my old router. Im not sure if there is a software that would allow this sort of thing, but any info is appreciated. thanks!
How do I configure my old wireless router to work with my new Sky broadband? (Or tips on better wifi signal)? Hi guys, I have recently moved broadband providers from Virgin to Sky. When I was connected through Virgin - I had a small Broadband box that plugged into a Netgear WGR614-6VGUKS router. This worked brilliantly around the house and in my office at the end of my garden. We have now moved over to Sky. They sent us a Netgear DG934G - 1SKUKS all in one Broadband & Router box that connects to the phone line. The box is small and grey / black and resembles an old Sky box and unusually has no arial on it. I plugged it all in (minus my old router) and took it for a test run ... and when I did I found I only had 20% wifi signal around the house (works ok through the cabel on main computer) which I can only improve by sitting next to the router - which obviously isnt ideal! We had the idea to plug the old wireless router into the new broadband. I did this by adding the router inbetween the new broadband and the main computer. I did all this and it worked brilliantly for about 10 minutes. Then the wireless disappeared from the network lists and we could no longer connect (Sky still shows up - just not the old wireless). I have done a fair amount of digging around and most people say that it is impossible to use a different wireless router with Sky Broadband. If this is the case - how come I got it to work the first time? Does anyone no the answer to this? Is there a way you can configure wireless routers to take over from the rubbish Sky one? If not - what is the answer to increasing the wifi strength? I have looked at wifi signal boosters briefly but they all seem to replace an arial that doesnt exist on our new broadband box. Please help - this is ruining my working day! Lol :) Thanks in advance. :)
What kind of wireless repeater/booster do I need? Hi. I have a Linksys Wireless Router (Home Gateway, model number: WAG354G). I have my Xbox and projector on the bottom floor but the router is two floors up in the attic with too many walls and stuff in the way. Neither the xbox nor the router can be moved for a better signal to get between them. All other avenues of increasing the signal strength have made appreciable improvements but nothing effective enough. The last thing I can try now is to buy a signal booster/repeater to plug into downstairs. I've been looking all over and have no idea which one, for a reasonable price, would be compatible and effective in conjunction with my Linksys router. Can anyone help me and point me in the right direction? Has anyone else done the same with a Linksys system before? Fingers crossed. Cheers. What's a wireless broadcasting N? But will that mains power thing work with the Xbox 360?
How to increase my Wireless Router speed to its best? Okay, for about 2 years of owning a Linksys router, i've been satisfied with the connection. But I want to know if there's anything further I can do with the router, as i've already have the settings configured for my computer using Advance System Care's Internet Booster / TCP Optimizer. Here's my Router version / model copied from the router settings. Firmware Version: 2.00.08 WRT54GX-v2 I've done a speed test with my own ISP (Hosted by Ookla) and it's best was : Ping: 11 DL Speed: 5000 kbps UL Speed: 440 kbps My brother's downloading torrents now so it's a bit worst On Average when he's downloading it'll be: Ping: 200 DL Speed: 1k UL Speed: 200 What can i do to increase the Wireless Routers signal so I can get the peak of its performance for my online play? (I use a wired connection for this computer, but a wireless for my Nintendo Wii and Netbook. I know I can't get more than what's given to me by my ISP, but I feel that my Wireless Router is holding out on me when connected to my Wii / Netbook. I know that the distance from the server that I play / connect to on my Netbook and Wii are factors to this, but I don't worry about that, just let me know what I need to know :D Please and Thank you
Is there any sort of modem signal booster.? I am just out of range of the wireless router at my place of work and was wondering if there was any sort gadget, maybe a usb gadget that would boost my modem signal to take the wireless signal to me.
New router or wireless expander? The wireless signal is not strong enough on my third floor. About 25% on my Playstation 3(not enough to get online). Should I buy a signal booster(expander) or is there a new router that would give me greater or equal signal on my third floor? If so what model? If not what signal booster should I get? I have the the Linksys WRT 54 G version 2 router. I was recommded the WAP 54G and the WRE 54G. I am not sure if the WAP 54G is the right product.
Does anyone know what is the easiest way to set up xbox 360 live if the modem and router are on one floor ? The xbox 360 is below on first floor. The internet signal in the room where the xbox 360 is isn't great but it can't be moved. We'd like to keep the router and modem on 2nd floor because it's warmer and the room with the console gets very cold at night. I have read there are things like signal boosters, wireless routers and other ways to extend a signal but am wondering what is easiest! I appreciate the ideas about the cable and am not ruling it out but it is pretty far actually and it would have to go across the living room and kitchen into the den. I think it would look silly. If the modem is moved downstairs I don't want to put it in den as there is no heat at night. But maybe that is best solution into a different room? Do you have to attach something to xbox itself and do you have to reprogram things into router or modem as that is complicated. Is there anything that is just plug and play? Like if we got a signal booster could that then plug/play right into xbox??
Why is it when the phone ringes it seems my wireless speed drops? I have Comcast cable internet, I have a linksys wireless router with speed booster as well as a range extender near my computer yet when the phone rings i seem to lose speed or lose my wireless signal entirely is there a reason for this??
D - Link Wireless N router Rangebooster? Ok so i got my D- link Wireless N range booster router, i got almost all my pc's connected to my router but one. The one that hasnt connected has a problem in Windows Network Connection. Although its a wireless N rangebooster router and the signal is full i always get this message. "Windows is unable to connect to the selected network. The network may no longer be in range. Please refresh the list of availible networks, and try to connect again." Like i said the network adaptor detects it with 4/5 bars, but yet i get this error.
How to extend my wireless WiFi signal range? Looking how to extend my wireless WiFi signal range, I'm running a D-Link DIR-655 Xtreme N Gigabit Router and have 5 wireless clients. Most clients are located in one side of the house, and there is not enough range for the other end. The router is great and has all the features I want with an outstanding performance and range, but the house is HUGE and I need the range doubled/extended to the other side of the house. I have so far tried: HAWKING HWABN1. That did not remedy the problem, because Hawking runs on channel 11 and switching my D-Link to a fixed channel creates intermittent connection problems for my wireless clients. And leaving D-Link on auto channel switching cuts off the connection to Hawking within 10 minutes after initial configuration. And even rebooting the Hawking does not fix the problem. So it's going back I need help finding a wireless product that will stand alone WITHOUT any LAN cables in the mid point between my current wireless router and the desired hot-spot in the home thus extending the range of my existing wireless N draft 2.0 network. Signal boosters will not do any good because the current router has a really big range and the apparatus sitting next to the router will not have a bigger range. I have already bought D-Link ANT24-0230 Xtreme N 2.4GHz Antenna to add to my router, but no cigar. Please help. Thanx. Switching clients to locked channel 11 resulted in out of sync or non communicating quick-books between stations. But that is a great suggestion -mr big-. Bridging the connections wirelessly between routers sounds interesting. Is bridging done the router console or through the network management of the hosting machine?
Do wireless signanl boosters really work? I have a difficult time maintaining a connection to my wireless router when I move throughout the house. Ive seen the signal boosters in the store, but they are rather pricey. Do they really work?

I need home wireless advice, just bought a Hawkins booster....? I have cable internet, and a linksys wireless router. I went to buy a signal booster, or signal repeater and ended up with the hawkins booster because the specs seemed superior to others. When i got home to install it, i realized it wasnt what i was expecting or used to. I get how to install it, but i was wondering if there was any other way. I have an HP desktop, do i just get a wireless card for it? Is my linksys router even needed if i do this? I need some advice. i do need a booster, i have a vary large area i need covered. should i just return it and get a linksys booster?
Boosting wireless internet signal? I have a Wireless Router in the 1st floor of my house. My computer is another floor up and at the other side of the house and the reception is quite poor. Can anyone recommend a booster that will improve the wireless signal?
improving signal radius of home network? I have a linksys wireless-n router, and it works great in my home, but I have been trying to figure out if there is a way to extend the signal to my shop, that is just a few yards outside of my house. It is so close to being strong enough signal there, but it tends to fluctuate from 0 to full strength. Does anyone know what would be the best way of doing this? I have seen wireless antennas, and thought about trying one of those. I don't think that linksys makes a wireless signal booster for their wireless-n routers. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Can I use my laptop as a signal booster? I'm using a wireless network, but the router will only reach part of my house. So I'm trying to use my laptop as a signal booster, by connecting to the internet in the place where it works, and then creating an 'ad hoc' network, so others can share my internet connection. Will this work? Every time i've tried it so far it disconnects from the normal connection when I create the ad hoc one. Thanks
Why can't i connect to wireless access point with an indoor Booster on 24 dbi grid antenna? cant connect while inside house. can connect while outside. Seems to be no signal detected inside. With the booster does the radiation beam from antenna become narrow and harder to align up. signal is also to be picked up by range extender inside to reach the wireless printer in office. Booster is 500mw netcomm. AP = netgear 54Mbps. Range extender is D-link with a 5db antenna. Belkin Wireless modem router for modem and router but wireless is disabled. distance from grid antenna is only about 15m approx. Only 1m approximately all up is from ap to antenna.
Whats wrong with my wireless Internet? My laptop is picking up my routers signal (full-strength), but will not connect... I plugged in a wireless signal booster via USB and it then connected to the internet, but when I try to go to a site, any site, it shows the cannot find page thing... I'm connected, but not able to browse, whats the deal... Also, the signal says, Signal: excellent; Status: (theres a word I cant remember right here but i do remember it had negative connotations)... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Which wireless booster or range extender works with Dlink DI524? Which wireless booster or range extender works with Dlink DI524? I do not have the access the router, because it is in my neighbor's house :) you know what i mean? The signal is weak and not stable. Sometimes it works good, but sometimes not. I have tried several ranger extender, but none of them really works, and some require physical access to the router which is not possible in my case. Does anyone knows a good product works for my case?

Can I use a Wireless G card with a Wireless B router?? Will it help?? I have a wireless B booster on the router but I still cant get a strong signal to my other desk top computer
Home wireless, booster?? Hey there... I live in a... funny house, and stupidly enough we can not get wireless broadband from the outside world into the house. It just screws up and no signal is recieved. I then tryed wireless internet across a single room (no intereference) and it just screwed up again for an unkown reason, even though it was a clear room no wall inbetween. I don't know if it was a dodgy router, or maybe I have something in my ceilings that screw with it or my phone frequency is interefering. Which leads me to... well 2 questions. 1. What could possibly interfere with wireless?? 2. Is there such thing as a wireless "boaster" that strengthsn the signal output of a wireless router or something else so I would be able to transmit it around my house. OR something that changes the frequency, any ideas right now are great. Thanks, Demo.
Is there a way I can boost the receiving power of my computer's wireless card? My wireless signal is bad and I'm trying to make it better it without having to move my router or buy an access point/signal booster.
How can I set up a wireless network with a new computer? I recently got a new PC for my own room. It does not have a wireless PCI card or adapter. On the other side of the house, we have a wireless router, that I purchased for use with my Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS. For the DS and Wii, it works fine--but not as far as my room. My question is two-fold--will I need a signal booster for any signal to reach my room and what hardware will I need for my new PC for it to recieve the signal?
Better wireless connection in boarding school? I attend a boarding school and I find it hard to connect to the internet while I'm there. My cottage (where we stay) doesn't have a wireless router. I have to get it from anther cottage which is like 400-500 feet away. whenever I do get a signal it's usually Very Low to the point where it only stays connected for a minute then loses it again. Is there any way I can get better wireless signal without doing anything to the actual router? I've heard about signal boosters but I don't know much about them. Can someone please explain it to me and maybe give me a link to one that I can buy for my laptop.. like the USB type thing. thank you!

10 Points!!Wireless Router Network Issue...What is best option for best quality range? 10 Pts.Best Answer!!? I am using a Linksys WRK54G Wireless-G router 54 mbps. This router sends a signal of possibly up to 50 feet maybe a little more no more than 80, So I purchased an Airlink AP311w Repeater. This repeater is to boost the signal which it does but not enough. My room is on the second floor of a two story house. I am having issues getting a stable connection the best signal reads, "Very Low". Any suggestions on what the problem is or how to fix it? And also what is the best router and range booster to go with? My room is approximately 150-240 ft. away from the router so if I center the range booster it would be 75-120 ft away. Which is the best router to go with and can someone give me experiences with routers. Feel free to post sources they would be more than helpful. Here is alink to the repeater -- http://www.outpost.com/product/4525367 Here is the linksys router but instead it cam with a usb network adapter -- http://rage.against.org/LinksysWRK54G Thanks Guys!
