But when I try to use my cell phone in my home or even outside my home i only get like one little bar and i lose my calls.
Is there a cheap cell phone signal booster for a Razr? I have a Razr and when I put a faceplate that I bought on it my signal strength is really low and people cut out on me. I take it off and its fine like always. Its just this one faceplate my other doesn't cause this. I really like this faceplate. Is there anything out there that I can put on the phone (behind the battery) to boost the signal a little?

Anyone recommend a cell signal booster for the home? i need a signal booster for my home, compatible with Alltel cell service, If you have one that you can recommend or can point me to one that is reasonably priced i would appreciate it. Seems like most of the one i have found online are $300 or more and thats just too much i think. Thank you for any help you can provide. Mike, I have had Alltel for 9 years, in the last month their signal no longer works at my residence , All 3 of our phones can no longer revieve a call or make a call, they work fine in other areas and when we travel. Alltel technicians have checked their tower and say it is working fine. They will not let me out of my contract, and i have 2 more years on it. Basicall they said if i die, they will let me out of the contract, no other excuses, even when their service stops working, we are screwed.
Cell Phone Signal Booster? im thinking of purchasing a cell phone signal booster, its like an extended antennae, do these things actually work?? its not that cheap sticker that you put behind your cell battery. its like an actual antennae that you set up in your house.
Cell phone signal booster? Does anyone have experience with a signal booster for an AT&T cell phone? I need one for my home. Thanks!
Know anything about cell phone signal boosters? We get terrible cell phone service in our house and we are looking into getting a cell phone signal booster. Since most of them are over $150, I'm a little wary of this investment. Do they work well? How do I know if it is compatible with my and my husband's cell phone and our service (we're with Verizon)? What is the best one to buy?
Has anyone had any experience with zboost cell signal boosters? I currently have an external antennae that mounts on my window sill which increases my signal significantly. I'm just unhappy with the fact that it forces me to be tethered to the device, defeating the purpose of having a wireless phone. It also allows only one user to use their phone simultaneously. Any experiences? Thanks!
Do those little cell signal boosters work? I was wondering if those, seemingly sticker like, devises that are supposed to increase your cell signal really work. Do they help with better reception and service on a razr?
Question on cell phone signal boosters? I would like a cell phone booster for our home as there are many dead zones that cause us to lose calls. What are the features to look for? Any suggestions on a particular model?
Will a cell phone signal booster help 3G data signal? I have a BlackBerry smart phone on Verizon and like to use it to listen to things like Pandora or use the MLB app while at work. The problem is that I recently switched jobs and get like 1 or 2 bars in the building and am sometimes on "Extended Network". Now if I get a signal booster, will it help my data connection or will it only improve my voice signal? If it won't improve access to Pandora, etc, it doesn't seem worth the money to me. If it does, are there any recommended models?
Recommendations for a cell phone repeater/signal booster? I've recently started living in an area that gets lackluster cell phone coverage (thanks to the township's reluctance to put up enough towers). Everyone in the house has Verizon wireless service. Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced ($300ish or less?) repeater or signal booster? And not one of those bits you slip into the body of the phone, a real unit. It doesn't need to cover a ton of space, we just want one or two rooms where we can receive a phone call reliably. Any and all advice is appreciated. With our luck, they'll just build another tower by the time we figure out what to do.
Do any of the cell phone signal boosters actually work? Is there anybody out there with actual experience with any of these? They are a tad pricey - a little inside scoop would be nice. thank you much.. No,I wasn`t talking about a sticker. This is a separate entity that plugs into 120 volts with an antennae on the roof and boosts all cell phones within so many feet of it.
Who makes a cellphone signal booster or cellphone signal relay? The new office space located in Wyckoff NJ that we recently moved into has VERY poor cell phone signal reception for all major cell phone carriers. Is there a cellphone signal relay or signal booster product that my company can purchase and place on the roof of the building to caputure a weak cellphone signal and allow us to have cellphone receiption in the building? The company owns a NEC IPK PBX, could that be used in any manner to distribute cell phone calls in the building?
Any experience with Cell Boosters, Signal Amplifiers, or Repeaters? I live in a city, and I have cell coverage everywhere EXCEPT my office.....and I miss business calls all the time. All attempts to have Verizon and/or T-Mobile fix the problem have failed, and it looks like I'm going to have to take things into my own hands. There are "boosters" from 50 cents, and up over a thousand dollars....I'd like one that doesn't keep me tethered to an antenna, and doesn't cost several hundred dollars. Any advice would be appreciated!
Are cell phone signal boosters worth the high price? I'm looking to setup a signal booster, I usually get 1 or so bars by the window, not the best. I found one site, but the price is a LOT... I could buy a camera lens ... or a really crappy car at this price. If anybody has any experience with signal boosters or any input whatsoever I'd appreciate any advice you may have, thanks. This is the product in question: http://www.maximumsignal.net/store/product.php?productid=16233&cat=10&page=1

cheap ways to boost cell phone signal? I'm in a hotel for a month, and I get almost zero signal on my cell phone. I don't need to use the internet, I just want to be able to send and receive calls and bb messages. I don't want to pay the ridiculous prices for a signal booster because I won't be here long. Any suggestions?
Any advice on improving signal strength on my Motorola V551 cell phone? The most signal strength I can get on my cell is 2 bars only and sometimes none at all. What should I do to improve this? I even added a signal booster that sticks inside the cell phone close to the antenna underneath the battery. By the way, my service provider is Rogers here in Canada.
would a cell phone have better reception with 2 antennas? im buying a generation x cell phone signal booster (like the as seen on tv ones), and they were cheap, so i thought of buying 2 of them, and i was wondering if you could get even better signal with 2 on your cell phone, and what if 2 were stacked on top of each other, or side by side.

How to inrease signal on cell phone? I switched phones to a cheap Motorola W260g and found it doesnt get signal in many of the places of older phone got. Does anyone know of any ways to get better signal on a cell? I tried those sticker type boosters however they dont work
Cell phone reception booster that works? I tried four different carriers before finding one that gave me at least somewhat of a signal where I live (out in the sticks). I recently had to return my phone due to damage, and neither of the two replacements, or the loaner they provided for the time to exchange got a signal at all. Actually the second replacement gets one sometimes, but not at all close to what my original cell got. My question is, are there any signal boosters that really work, not like the little sticker that you put inside the case. I seem to remember seeing something resembling a small dish antenna that was advertised to be used inside the home and guaranteed improved reception in areas such as mine. Does anyone know of this or any other type of signal booster that isn't just hype? My land line frequently goes out and I don't like having no way to contact someone should the need arise. Thanks in advance...
Is there a way to get a better cell phone signal ? .....wthout buying a booster? Is there some kind of home remedy like foil? Not to sound like a redneck but I live in a dead spot and money is tight at the moment. BTW I have a Net 10 pick up and go phone. Nokia.... if that matters. Every carrier in the area works perfectly from what I'm told by friends. So is there a settng in the phone I could change or something?

Best, cheap signal booster? I live in the middle of nowhere and the only cell phone provider that I get service with is Verizon. I get service at my house but it's only one or two bars. I have a HTC Droid Eris and I would like to use it to the fullness I can. So what signal booster do you suggest? Also, I'd like it if it wasn't over $100. Thanks ahead of time.
wireless signal boosters? I want to buy a wireless signal booster for my cell phone. its a treo 650 and its unlocked . i have very bad signal in my house and get a lot of dropped calls. I am talking about those little stickers that come out on TV and they have them at Fry's Electronics and at Walgreens and other places. Do they work? or should i not buy it. I dont want to spen 100 dollars or more on a home based signal booster so they are out of the question
how can i improve my cell phone reception? I read something on the AOL website that suggested when you need to use your phone in areas with very poor reception, you may want to consider purchasing a repeater or signal booster. What is a repeater? Where can I get this kind of technology for my envy?
